In light of the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza Governorate, and the continuing siege and electricity cuts since the beginning of the aggression, the health sector is facing a severe shortage in providing essential medical services, especially in specialized hospitals that serve the most vulnerable groups, including Al-Rantisi Children's Hospital.
The power outage has a direct impact on the hospital's ability to operate vital medical equipment, such as ventilators, incubators, and dialysis machines, posing a serious threat to the lives of hundreds of sick children.
Therefore, we worked to fund a project to provide a solar power system for Al-Rantisi Children's Hospital in Gaza, with the aim of ensuring the continuity of vital medical services and reducing dependence on fuel, which is becoming increasingly difficult to secure amid recurring crises. The proposed solar power system is a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution that would contribute to strengthening the resilience of the health sector in the face of ongoing emergencies.
