Lebanon

An introduction to the region’s situation, crises and severe need:

Lebanon is facing growing health and humanitarian needs as a result of attacks, displacement, and damage to medical facilities, in addition to the burdens of living conditions that weigh heavily on families. Difficulty accessing some areas and the disruption of health services lead to delays in treatment, especially for patients who need ongoing follow-up and regular medication. The suffering of refugees and low-income families in securing basic care is also multiplied, while pregnant women, children, and the elderly need support that ensures they continue to receive medical services.

Medics works to support those in need and those affected in Lebanon through mobile clinics serving refugees in camps, providing chronic disease medications for poor families, equipping departments in hospitals in the south, and delivering medical kits and first aid during crises; to help alleviate suffering and ensure the continuity of health care.
