Sudan is facing a severe humanitarian and health crisis as a result of war and displacement. Millions of families have lost stability, and access to treatment and medicine has become a daily challenge. With health facilities disrupted and shortages of staff and medical supplies, the risks of infectious diseases and malnutrition are rising, and children, pregnant women, older people, and patients with chronic diseases face even greater difficulties in obtaining the care they need.
Medics is working to support those affected and strengthen health services in Sudan through mobile clinics serving displaced people, providing emergency equipment and medicines to affected hospitals, contributing to epidemic control, and supporting maternity units in rural centers, in order to bring medical care closer to those in need and alleviate their suffering.
