West Bank

An introduction to the region’s situation, crises and severe need:

Communities in the West Bank face increasing challenges in accessing health care, as a result of incursions, attacks, movement restrictions, and checkpoints that prevent patients and ambulances from reaching hospitals. These difficulties are exacerbated in villages, camps, and marginalized areas, where the need for mobile clinics and essential medicines increases, especially for older people and patients with chronic diseases, while the lack of funding threatens the continuity of some medical services.

Medics works to support the health sector in the West Bank by providing care through mobile clinics, supporting ambulance and rescue services, equipping emergency rooms and laboratories, and providing medicines for chronic diseases; to help bring medical services closer to those in need and ease the burden on patients and their families.
