The war on the Gaza Strip has left a deep humanitarian and health crisis, in which thousands of families have lost loved ones, homes, and sources of income, and access to treatment, clean water, and safe shelter has become a daily challenge. With hospitals and health centers damaged, and shortages of medicines, supplies, and energy sources, patients and the wounded face major difficulties in obtaining the care they need, especially children, older people, and patients with chronic diseases.
In response to these needs, Medics is working to provide relief to those affected and support the health system in Gaza through the implementation of medical and relief projects, the rehabilitation of health facilities, support for surgical operations, the equipping of ambulances and mobile clinics, and the provision of medicines, equipment, and energy sources; to help save lives, alleviate suffering, and ensure the continuity of medical services.
